4 tools supplied. The 16 ft / 5 m 1-inch blade uses a sliding lock to retain the reading and a bottom speed brake to control retraction.

The 1 inch nylon-coated steel blade has white and yellow matte scale faces. Printed fractional markings help you read inches, while the reverse side also carries metric graduations.

4 16 ft / 5 m DuaLock tape measures, each with a belt clip and wrist strap.

Choose the tape length and locking mechanism for the space you need to measure. Both sides of the blade have markings.
| Job or requirement | Works | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Furniture and household layout | Yes, within tape length | Measure spans up to 16 ft / 5 m; select imperial or metric markings. |
| Inside and outside dimensions | Yes | The movable true-zero hook is intended for push and pull measurements. |
| Measuring from either blade face | Yes | Use the multi-catch hook and read the units printed on that face. |
| Framing layout | Yes, as a layout aid | 16-inch center markings are references; confirm the plans and material dimensions. |
| Long unsupported or vertical spans | No guaranteed reach | Support the blade as needed; full tape length does not establish standout. |
| Laser distance readings | No | These are mechanical tapes. LX-201 combines a laser meter with a shorter tape. |
Choose LX-207 when the longest contact span fits within 16 ft / 5 m. It keeps the 1-inch blade width of the longer LX-206 while offering a shorter measuring range.
For an opening within its 16 ft / 5 m range, push the movable hook against the inside edge and read the desired scale. The hook's movement is part of that measuring method.
Yes. LX-207 reaches 16 ft / 5 m with a 1-inch blade; LX-200 reaches 10 ft / 3 m with a 3/4-inch blade.
The tool has white and yellow scale faces and a multi-catch hook. Use the face that puts the required imperial or metric graduations in view.
No. The blade range ends at 16 ft / 5 m. LX-206 offers a longer 25 ft / 7.5 m contact tape; do not extrapolate beyond LX-207's scale.
Blade width alone does not establish a tested vertical reach. Support LX-207 as needed when measuring upward or across a longer gap.
Set the thumb slider after extending the blade to the measurement. The bottom speed brake is available for controlled withdrawal after you release that slider.
Automatic holding is the AutoLock design, not the DuaLock design. Use LX-207's thumb slider for a held measurement and maintain control during extension.
Yes. LX-207 retains printed fractional graphics alongside feet/inch and metric markings; the shorter length does not remove those scale types.
The housing is rubberized ABS, the 1-inch blade is nylon-coated steel and the spring is described as heat-treated manganese. These materials do not establish a drop-test rating.
It has dual-sided imperial and metric markings on a nylon-coated blade with a matte finish. Choose the face and units that suit your measurement.
The blade has 16-inch center references for framing layouts. Use them within the blade range and confirm the planned spacing before making marks.
