Compare the contents with the three listed size groups and contact Lexivon with a description and photos of the mismatch. Do not assume a different key is an acceptable substitute.
Can I keep using a broken or twisted key?
Stop using the damaged key and contact Lexivon for assessment. No approved home repair method is specified.
How should I deal with a whitish film on the keys?
Wipe the keys clean and keep them dry. If a whitish film persists, send Lexivon a photo for assessment rather than assuming the film is rust.
Do the keys normally need oiling?
The keys do not normally require oiling. Keep them clean and dry; avoid excess oil that leaves the tools slippery.
Should I keep forcing a key that slips in the fastener?
Stop and check the exact size, profile and condition of both key and recess. Do not force an uncertain fit.
Does normal coating wear qualify for warranty replacement?
Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship; normal wear and tear is excluded. Contact Lexivon for an individual assessment rather than assuming wear qualifies.
