Very happy with all of my Lexivon torque wrenches. I have three of them. They are high-quality and durable and they are made in the USA!

I had purchased a LEXIVON 1/2-Inch Drive Click Torque Wrench (25-250 Ft-Lb). I use it regularly for my 5th wheel while traveling. Recently something happened to my wrench and it was not working properly. My 2 year warranty had just expired but I wrote to Lexicon anyway. They responded quickly by having me ship the wrench to them (they paid shipping). After their engineers looked at it they shipped me a brand new one even though my warranty had expired. I like the wrench and have had no problems with it. Not sure what happened to the 1st one, but Lexicon stood behind their product, so I am happy with my purchase and their customer service

I bought the LX-183 for what I considered to be a very reasonable price. Upon arrival it's function seemed impaired. The problem progressed over 3 weeks until the tool was unusable. Upon contacting Lexivon, I was shocked
at the level of concern of their Representatives. I was immediately shipped a perfectly functional replacement, and a return shipping label, that cost me nothing. Tools can and will fail. What has impressed me, was the rapid response, and willingness to get me "back to work" as painlessly as possible. Bravo Lexivon. And, Thank You.

Really affordable, packaged well, works perfectly. I hate over paying for tools. I'm glad I found this wrench.

Good customer service.

After buying 2 other torque wrenches, which were essentially the same as this one except for the color, I decided to keep this one even though it's accuracy is somewhat sketchy. It's ok in the upper ranges. But not so in the lower. I don't use it that often so it's good to have in my toolbox for the price.

Bought this to check torque on on TV and RV trailer lug nuts. Found loose lug on auto as an aside. And aside from tool quality it looks great too!

if you work on a lot of cars it is a must have, that is if you care

The torque wrench is very well made and easy to use, comes with a incredible storage case. Very good product and I would recommend LEXIVON Torque Wrenches to anyone.....

Needed for a motorcycle rear axle nut. Used it twice so far. Works as it's supposed to. Directions are short and concise. Can't attest to how accurate it is but if the stated tolerance is accurate this should be a useful tool for quite a while.
Courtney Pettigrew
Just used this to take some lug nuts off my car to replace them. This wrench does not feel cheap at all. Really good quality for the price.

And easy to read

Torque wrench works as it should with easy to read numbers. Very pleased with the purchase.

I've had this torque wrench for almost two years now, and each time I have used this wrench, I have confidence that the specs I am torquing down to are accurate. The build quality is very impressive for the price point. The dial to designate your torque is also very legible and involves no guess work at all - it is super clear, and the mechanism on choosing your torque level is very handy and secure.
Only a couple times when I have used it, did I notice I did not fully tighten the lower bolt that locks in your torque spec, which thus deviated slightly on what I wanted. But after readjusting the torque and ensuring it is tight, this thing works extremely well. I just purchased and received the smaller, 1/4 inch drive torque wrench, which has a little collar that locks and unlocks the twisting mechanism to choose your torque, which I really like. I'm sure there is a reason the larger wrenches use the lower bolt to lock the torque vs the smaller wrench, but I do like the build quality of both methods of locking the torque.
Overall, I would definitely recommend one of these torque wrenches. As a first torque wrench, I hope this will last me quite a while - and based on the build quality and how well-made it is, along with the calibration documentation, case, and good clickiness the wrench provides, I would be totally happy if this is the first and only torque wrench I'll need! (Especially since I don't need to use it terribly often - mainly torquing down my lug nuts, or any other part that needs a spec. I wanted a lower level of torque for other parts of my car, and so got the smaller wrench as well recently, of which I am excited to use!)

**updated**Contacted customer service and they had a new, working product to me in two days. Were very quick and easy to work with.Doesn't work regardless of the setting. Unfortunately I didn't test within the return window but fortunately I decided to test it before attempting to torque an oil drain plug. Hopefully I can get a response from the company directly.

So I've had this specific torque wrench for over 2 years now. Using it for automotive work. I will say this is a nice nice torque wrench for the price. The yellow on black makes it extremely easy to read even in the dark. The handle is nice and easy to grip. The case for it is great, I've always kept it in the case and the case has taken a tumble here and there but the torque wrench has remained completely fine without a scratch every time. Another good thing is that the spring on this thing is loud, or at least mine is very loud. Not sure if there's anything wrong with it but it's never given me a single issue and I like how loud it is as some torque wrenches I've used have been quiet and makes it difficult to tell when you have reached your torque when you're in a situation when it's hard to feel the spring lock.A few complaints that I do have is that it can deviate from the ~4% margin of error sometimes by just a little bit. Even though it's accurate that margin of error can be crucial sometimes.I wish the head was a higher tooth count, sometimes I've have been in a tight spot where I have had to take the torque wrench off the nut and move the drive myself because I couldn't get it to lock into the next tooth due to lack of space. Also wish the handle was just a few inches longer, possibly 22 inches or so instead of the 18 inches that it is. I've pushed this thing all the way up to 100 foot pounds before and when you start to get that high it gets incredibly tough with a handle that's shorter than 24 inches. Although this is partly my fault as for a job that high I should just use a larger torque wrench however this is my only one.Other than that I think it's a great great torque wrench and I've put it through a lot of use and it's held up fine. Ive easily put over 1,000 clicks through this thing and the spring is still loud and snappy like when I first bought it.

Good value. Good wrench. Good purchase.

I have had this torque wrench for a few years. I have put it through hell and it keeps coming back for more. The torque adjustment procedure is a little tricky, but I believe that the design is part of what makes it such a reliable/ durable tool. I have used this as a breaker car on numerous occasions and it still torques correctly. This is the one to get!!!
Sean Andre
I am using it for lug nuts on my Subaru Legacy. I keep it in my trunk. Very easy to use and I love it.
Daniel Tavares
Wanted a price sufficient torque wrench as my budget doesn't have the room for a fancy one however I feel like I found a golden nugget here! Easy to see, read and TRUST! Others have made videos showing the accuracy and the certificate that is traceable is very reassuring! Follow instructions and STORE WRENCH ON LOWEST SETTING! Love the click sound and paired this with the doubled ended sockets which worked like a dream! You won't be sorry as this definitely reassured me the my tires won't fall off ahahah
tom
Use on tractor and truck use and seems to be just fine so far.
TND
Great, heavy duty torque wrench. I'd never used one before (I'm 57) and it was simple! I was adding wheel spacers to my vehicle and this $40 wrench saved me the $250 I would have paid someone else.Dial is easy to read and instructions are well written and simple to follow.
christopher
The torque wrench only torques in one direction.. it is not a bi directional torque wrench.. if l would have know that l would not have purchased it.
Kory Mcroy
Haven't had a problem yet great quality for the money

Torqued wheel lugs to spec at (150lbs), the click was easy to hear, even with earplugs. The plastic hard case it comes with looks good, overall would buy again

Using primarily for lug nuts. Works great!
Michael McDermott
A great addition to the tool box. Instructions were excellent and easy to follow. Worked great for torquing camper lug nuts.
Franklin Allen
Smooth operation, clear instructions, nice case.
Alvin Roberson
The fact that it comes with a accuracy document for a triple accuracy test for each of it's low , med, and max range spectrums is really nice ..... The black color with nice bright numbers allows for easy and accurate use even in those areas with not the best lighting .... For the price it's a nice addition to the tool house .... Time will tell if it's durability is as good as the looks and ease of use .... The cart customizer

Exactly what it said easy to use easy to read accurate AF I use it to build my ar-15's works perfect
Karli Placek
Got this because I refuse to buy a $100+ torque wrench. This works just fine.
Coffin Closet
I've used it on control arms, lug nuts, shocks, and it hasn't failed me, very accurate and solidly built. The black also looks better than the vast majority of other torque wrenches. The click is very audible and satisfying. The case is sturdy and easy to haul to jobs, while being small enough to have a permanent spot in your Jeep.
Red
I like this tool. It feels solid and has been reliable for work over 15lb. I don't think it's accurate at 10lb though, it seems to tighten closer to 13lb than 10, which isn't good for some of the things I need (like a valve cover where 10lb set it but 13+lb squeezes out the gasket). The light on dark lettering is easier to read than some competitors, but it could be larger print to be easier to read. The click is soft sounding but has a good feel.I'm not returning it, I'm just going to get one to go with it that's lower.
Jayden
Great quality, best price anywhere I could find. And works great.
Seth
Next option for this range of torques would be a kolt, craftsman, or husky which will be closer to $100. Was skeptical at first but I've used the 10-80 and 10-150 now and they both work fine. Click feels nice and smooth, ideal for automotive use. Only drawback is the set point doesn't stay exactly what you set it to after use.
Eric Johnson
Haven't got to use it yet, but it's feels like quality like their tools always do. Price is great. Get one.
Laurie D
A great product. Was very pleased with the product and the price

Good wrench at a good price.

Everyone seems to like this unit, but i didnt think it was super great. It definitely get the job done tho. My biggest issue it the screw i lock at the bottom.. if i set it for 90 or 100ft lbs, when i use it i often turn the dial so the setting either gos up or down. I finally resorted to keeping a long nail in the box to tighten the or losen the lock screw. I got sick of that real quick so just upgraded to a digital. But like i said if ur not using it 10x a day and constantly changing the ft lbs, its pretty solid.
rickc
Use this for my RV trips before starting each segment of trip. Very easy to use
Not fooled
Parece ser adecuado.

This is a very nice tool, it's well made, and cones with a protective case. Very easy to use.
Longmore Family
Love it
Brandon
Decent for higher torque specifications. Simply does not click at all on the lower ones. Just snapped an alternator bolt learning that... I'm sitting here thinking, "7.4 ft lb... Didn't think it'd be this much torque... (Snap)... Oh ..."Unfortunately I had a delay in even beginning the job as I had COVID when I first got this. What sucks is I'm just a few days past the return date... 100% would have returned this and purchased a digital one...

For the money this has got to be one of the best torque wrenches. It's a solid tool that easy to use and works every time I need it to. I don't know why it took me this long to buy one but I'm glad I did.
john c..
Tested on wheel lug nuts 95 Ft/LBS. Did a good job easy to feel click at higher settings than lower ones. Yellow lettering on black is very easy to read hope it stands up to use. Handle could be a little longer for more leverage but is comfortable in the hand.
BW
These Lexivon torque wrenches work perfectly and they look great as well
Laura Sue Goodwin
This is NOT my first torque wrench I purchased and I gotta tell you, I have used other brands and this one is the nicest torque wrench I have ever owned. It is nice and long so you get great leverage. The metal feels solid in your hands and smooth. I have used Snap On's, Harbor Freight, and lots of other wrenches and I gotta say this one is a better quality. And it comes with a REALLY nice case. Definitely would recommend. I wish I had this wrench when I was working on Diesel engines!
Michael V
Great torque wrench, used it couple times now to add 33s on my 2001 chevy suburban SUV, add wheel spacers also on my SUV and to check bolts on my SUV and tacoma. Really helpful and easy to use and easy to carry around in my truck.
Audrey
The wrench is strong, the setting sleeve moves easily but not à€œloose" in that you know you're setting a solid wrench. I like the contrasting colour for the numbers, made setting the torque in lower light very easy. The case is strong and will protect the wrench for years. I was more than surprised by the quality and pleased that it was North American made!

The packaging and the storage case already give confidence. Going very well. The click is very easy to feel and hear. This tool is impeccable.

Very much like this product. I use it to change the oil filter on a 182.
Erik Bledsoe
Bought this to check the lug nuts on my RV after a tire change. Was advised to bring the RV back to the dealership after 50 miles to have them re-torqued. Instead I got this and took it on the road with me. At the first rest area I checked all of the nuts and found 4 that needed tightened. Great product to have for that added peace of mind, knowing you are being as safe as possible. Not sure that I will use this for many other projects, but its already proven its value to me. Pretty easy to set, great travel case which was a MUST for me since its going to live in my RV. Highly recommended!

Really love the yellow scale on black color, easy to read. Accurate out of the box ( tested it on a test bench at work that we use to verify our snap-on torque wrench). Good value for the buck
Crystian Gaeta
Used this to work on my car, to reach specified torque pounds. very simple to adjust.
Chris Simone
I don't have issues using this. I bought it for changing rotors, brakes and tires and it works well for me. It's sturdy, heavy and love the case.

Works well. I'd buy again.
Michael
Excellent product and it works great! Easy to read the numbers with yellow on black
Peter Cunningham
Great wrench but the"click" needs to be a little louder
Tscolt
Nice wrench. Hard to keep the turn lock tight enough to keep the number from changing while doing heavier torques.

Good price for good quality

I am no mechanic by any means, but I do like to keep up with maintenance on my things and trailer wheels take alot if abuse. I recently learned you should check your lugs often and tighten them between 90 and 120lbs per square inch. It can save alit of problems.(unfun ones I know) so simple to dial it in and takes but a minute. To run threw all the lugs make sure they are for me at 105. A little pice of mind with all the other fun things come with pulling a trailer. The tool is easy to read, works very well and looks good . I'm very pleased with it over all the case is nice too, keeps it safe.
Danny Watson
Built a new engine for my truck. I hope My only issue was operator error. Broke a bolt due to miss reading the scale.

Just got it today and tried it out on my truck. Works perfect for torquing lug nuts. Nice loud clic. Easy to adjust with the high contrast black finish. Also comes with an awesome case. Premium product at a reasonable price. Very happy with this one.

I am constantly working on my car, and I sometimes need to remove wheels. I had a halfway decent torque wrench that broke. This one was very easy to use, and it feels like it's higher quality than my old one.

Works very well. Great build quality. Used it to change tires on 2 SUVs and Audi S5. If I got again I would get the longer version though as it would be quite hard to torque tires on an SUV if you are not very strong. This length is more for smaller jobs requiring less torque.

Needed torque wrench for tightening zero turn blades - didn't want to spend a fortune as not needing scientific level accuracy. Have used multiple times on lower and on a couple trailer hitch receiver installs.Easy to set and read setting. Click when reach desired torque is noticeable.

This Lexivon wrench is well worth the investment. This tool replaces a Craftsman, which served me well, and used for nearly 50 yrs. I sold the Craftsman at a yard sale 2 yrs. ago thinking I was done turning wrenches. Humm...not yet though. The black finish reduces glare when using a lighting source close-in areas or sunlight. The gold engraved scale is easy to read. I do recommend. The inch pound wrench looks good too.
Philbod
Only flaw, but still: if you subject it to a slight twist, the click is almost inaudible.
Kit
Exactly what I needed.
Harry Byrne
Seems acceptable

I am not going to use this to restore a priceless, barn find Lambo to factory specs. I just want it ballpark and confidence inspiring, which it is. It looks quality, feels good to use, but popular online reviewer project farm put it head-to-head to a bunch of other brands, some popular, some Chinese like this product. It came in dead last in about every accuracy category, and it just fell off the more times it was used. On the other hand, it's 40 dollars. Can't disagree with the price tag!

for the price cant beat it. bought 1/2 and 3/8 drives
TNC
Maybe I should only assign a "4" at this time due to a short time of use. However, I bought this prior to an extensive session of vehicle service and repair because my existing 1/2" drive wrench died. When this torque wrench came in I checked it against a very high quality, high dollar unit a neighbor has. It clicked at exactly the same number values, so it appears more than accurate enough for any normal automotive home use.The last two 1/2 drive units I had that failed cost about $100. They used the locking collar that it is up near the top of the handle. All the 3/8 drive and 1/4 drive torque wrenches I've had for years use the locking knob at the bottom without failure or issue. While a direct comparison to the 1/2 drive unit may not be fair due to higher torque pressures, I'm not sure I'm a fan of those with that locking collar at the top. This is where both previous 1/2 drive units failed...a kind of "unthreading" of the shaft that you could detect up near the locking ring.I saw some comments on this wrench stating that the clicks when reaching the set torque were fairly undetectable. The one I have has very distinct click feedback like all the units I've owned before. I wrenched for quite a few days recently with a lot of use from this unit, and it appears to function as well as any good torque wrench I've owned over many years. If that changes I'll update for sure.
