This spark plug socket is perfect! Did the job as intended, grabs the plug tightly. The plus is the magnet, it is strong enough that holds that plug coming out and when gently placing back in.

Spark plug socket with built in extension/universal joint worked much better than connecting separate parts. Be sure to lube the u-joint for accurate torqueing.

Made it much easier to remove the spark plugs.

Have an 06' Acura RL 3.5 L VTEC engine The Magnetic socket is a big plus when you remove spark plugs # 1,2, & 3 which normally results in bloodied hands & a lot of cussing! Doesn't say anywhere in owners manual about needing infant size hands to R&R rear plugs!

Porsche Boxster spark plugs are in the worst of spots. This made quick work of getting even my stubborn plugs out with out me having to rip my wrists in the process.

It would have been better if there was more of magnets on it so the spark plug won't fall.

Top marks for maneuverability, but the magnet is placed too far forward in the socket so it ended up only covering about half of the depth of the nut on the spark plug (pulling ac delco 41-109s, ymmv) which made it prone to slipping if the spark plug had been over-torqued. Ended up having to get a non-magnetic deep socket to get the spark plugs loose, then I could finish pulling them out with this.

Changing spark plugs on a RAM 1500 5.7 HEMI is challenging at best. Cylinders 5 & 7 are near impossible to access. This tool made all the difference in the world.

This works awesome. The swivel doesn't bind up when spinning due to its design. The best part of this socket is the magnet. I hate using the plug removers with rubbers as they tend to leave the rubber stuck to the plug when installing the plugs.

Must have to remove and install spark plugs on the Ford 5.0 engine. Made the spark plug change a breeze. Highly recommended.

I did plugs, wires and coils on my 03 express van, couldnt have done it without this. On the driver side you get the back plug from inside and the front 3 from the wheel well, passenger side back2 from inside and front 2 from wheel well. Not a fun job but i got it done.

Because the product description doesn't really describe this that well - in my opinion, here goes mine.6 inches overall length, pretty much divided equally into a 3-inch long 5/8 inch spark plug socket that is magnetic and thin-walled and permanently attached to a 3-inch extension that has about a 20 or 30-degree wobble over its 360-degree radius and is dimensioned for a 3/8-inch drive.

Used this to change plugs on my 2011 Acura TL and overall length was perfect. Combination of magnet and captive, pivoting extension works really well. Great product

I bought this to be able to reach the notoriously-difficult-to-reach bank 1 spark plugs on my wife's V6 Toyota Sienna. It worked properly, but there's more to it than that.This is a well-built tool made by people that made sure they had a quality product. It's evident in everything about it.A spark plug socket may not be the biggest deal in the world, but this sure was a good choice, and at a good price. And BTW, the magnet is strong. No more worrying about lost spark plug socket inserts.

If you're using this for a Suzuki DRZ400 like me, get a shorter one. If you get this one anyways, it still works great but you just need and additional extension to clear the frame. Besides that, it's awesome. The magnet solidly holds the spark plug.

Just the tool for DYI tuneup. Could not get to the hard to reach plugs without this. And half the plugs were hard to reach! Save $300 doing the job myself.

Bought to access spark plug on a KTM 525EXC dirt bike. Very tight access but this tool works nicely!

Changing spark plugs in a Ram 1500 hemi was easier with this socket.

This socket worked like it supposed to. The magnet is a must for the deep sparkplug holes and the swivel head makes for easy access for the plugs against the fire wall.

The swivel part is what i liked the most for changing out my spark plugs on my 04 dodge ram. Saves you the hassle.

It worked great to change the plugs on my 2000 Ford Expedition.

I can't get enough angle to get to most of the spark plugs on my application. My engine has headers and it's very difficult to get around them sometimes. It appears to be a high quality tool but if It can't get into the places where needed it's pretty much useless. That being said on other vehicles it can probably be very useful.

Is only thin wall halfway down. Will not reach deep spark plug. Cost me a couple of days to get a better one.

Saw this tool in gift idea for mechanics and bought it for myself. 5/8" is 90% of spark plugs in vehicles so you really only need the one size. It comes with an extension and is attached to the socket so no more loosing the socket down the hole. It is magnetic so the plug does not fall out until you pull the socket off! Should have had this tool years ago. Highly recommend it!

Works as it should and excellent quality

This socket had good fit on my 5/8 spark plugs. Magnet is strong. The angle and length were handy for what I needed. The working motion while turning with a tool was a little rough/heavy but still did the job, maybe some break-in is needed.It’s worth mentioning the chrome plating would flake off from inside the 3/8 tool side of the extension when I would remove it from the socket wrench. This is a cosmetic issue and didn’t effect the tools function. Final say: I would recommend this for light/medium work.

Will not work on dodge 4.7 engine. Did not work on my application but not a reason to give it a bad review. I see no point of having a thin wall socket when other upper part of the socket is thicker stopping it from actually going down onto the plug.

Anyone who has changed plugs on a modern car knows what I am talking about. The problem is the socket getting jammed in the deep well where the sparkplug resides. This usually occurs when a plug is in too tight. With this tool that problem cannot occur. Yes, it can still jam, but with that socket permanently attached to the shaft, recovering it is easy. That said, the tool fits well onto the plugs, is very well made and should last forever. The thoughtfully place knurling on the shaft makes handling easy even with a little grease on your hands. Nice tool, nice design. If you work on your car, this is a keeper.

I just changed out and replaced 8 worn out spark plugs on my 1997 f150 4.6 liter engine. I couldn’t have been able to do it without this tool. Saved a lot of money doing it myself.

Having a wobble extension built into your spark plug socket is a super handy improvement. It provides a lot more flexibility (no pun intended) without adding a lot of bulk (compared to a separate wobble adapter + extension). The overall construction of this appears to be very good, and there are a few nice details that make this stand out:1. The top of the socket AND the upper third of the extension are knurled to give you a bit more grip when you need to reach in with your fingers and spin the socket by hand2. The walls of the socket portion are nice and thin which helps ensure that this will work even on cars wit very tight clearances in the spark plug gallery (like Mercedes V6 and V8 engines).3. There is a magnetic collar inside the top of the socket which will "grab" the spark plug as it comes loose from the engine. There is NOTHING more frustrating than dropping a spark plug into an engine bay, especially when there is a belly pan under the motor where the spark plug will disappear and rattle around. Some spark plug sockets use a rubber grommet that eventually wears out (or falls out). This one features a magnet, so it should last a long time.4. Flex connector spins very smoothly in 360º arc. Unlike some u-joint based wobble attachments, this uses a ball joint, so it spins very smoothly all the way around. Its also not "floppy" so it will stay in position when you need to reach down into a tight spot and get it onto the top of a spark plug.Overall the chrome finish and overall manufacturing quality appear to be very good. Only several years of use will tell whether this is the case, but turning this over in my hands and using it to pull the plugs from a 4 cyl car this past weekend indicate that it is very well made for its price point.One thing to note is that this is labeled as a "6" extension" but its not - its actually only a 3.5" extension. The OVERALL length is about 6".
